



Supporting the Spanish Red Cross in the face of flooding in Valencia

Spain is facing one of the worst climatic disasters in its history. Since torrential rains began on October 29 in the east of the country, 219 people have lost their lives in floods that have devastated Valencia and other provinces in the Levante region, and there are still a large number of people missing.
Solution
Faced with the gravity of the situation, the Spanish Red Cross is mobilizing all available resources to help those affected as effectively as possible. A continuous, coordinated and uninterrupted response is being provided, thanks to the involvement of 1,627 people dedicated to this emergency response.

The money will be used for
Setting up temporary emergency shelters, distribution of food and essential non-food items, immediate health assistance and psychological first aid, home delivery of medicines, clean-up and debris removal work, etc.
